Several talented youngsters, both boys and girls, got the chance to showcase their talent in small sided games under the guidance of some of the country's knowledgeable coaches headed by Muhammad Isa.

Isa added that the day's proceedings was filled with enthusiasm among all who participated.

"It really allowed several of thee young ones to come out and enjoy the game but at the same time learn more about it," Isa said. "The important thing was that the basics of the game are taught to the youth from an early stage and this is what we are doing in the Stern John Skills Award programme. Stern himself must be commended for this initiative and he will he happy to see the response we are receiving. Everyone else involved in the planning and staging of the event can feel good to know that that we are seeing the benefits of such a programme and hopefully it will continue with this type of passion and hard work," Isa ended
